Scholarship Mentoring Programme

Net NZ runs a scholarship mentoring programme and it is now open for enrolments.  Scholarship Tutored Classes involve a series of after-school and evening, structured weekly tutorials delivered during Terms 3 & 4 by experienced scholarship teachers using Google Hangouts and other online technologies (email, Google+, Google Drive). Teal Voices

Congratulations to Teal Voices who have been selected as one of the best 24 secondary school choirs in the country, to attend the National Finale of The Big Sing 2016.  They will travel to Dunedin in August for the Finale.

Lacrosse Winners

WGC Gold Lacrosse team won the Wellington competition with a 4-1 win over Marsden.  The girls played their best game of the season and did brilliantly dealing with the pressure (and a big crowd). It's also the third time WGC  has won the tournament in 4 years.

Cross Country Success

WGC took out the national Year 9 teams titles at the NZ Cross Country in Rotorua last weekend!  Libby got 2nd in the Para- Athletes Senior Girls Race.  Well done to all 11 runners who represented the school.
