Georgia Hoggarth and Fariha Islam (both year 12) have been accepted to be members of the MacDiarmid Institute NanoCamp event in January 2018. This is a great achievement for them both, to attend this prestigious 5 day event in Auckland. Several times more applications were received than places available so their academic strengths and personal qualities would have impressed the selection panel. Well done to both of them!
Hosted by the MacDiarmid Institute, NanoCamp is a full week of residential lab experience, with top scientists, completing hands-on investigations into a range of topics including electron microscopy, laser physics and nano-electronics.
