Congratulations
by Lorraine Stafford - Tuesday, 3 May 2016, 9:50 AM

Congratulations to Karen Morgan (DP) who was appointed Principal of Taita College during the holidays. This is a wonderful promotion for Karen and it's a school she has wanted to work in for a long time.

Karen will  leave WGC  at Queen's Birthday Weekend.
We shall miss her high energy, her commitment to the school and her talent in the Drama class - not to mention her highly competitive streak in staff activities, but we all wish her well as she gains her first principalship. Our loss is definitely Taita's gain.

Reminder: change to Bus Route 678
by Ann Gilbert - Monday, 2 May 2016, 2:06 PM

Message from the Greater Wellington Regional Council

Based on feedback received, we have identified that there is often traffic congestion for school bus route 678 (currently departing at 7.25am from Moa Point and Seatoun). It is currently requiring an additional 10 minutes to arrive at school which is often causing the bus to be late.

In order to ensure students arrive at school on time we plan to re-time bus route 678. It will depart at 7.15am from Moa Point (near 42) from 2 May 2016 (Term 2, 2016).
